The flagship. A 2023 Van's RV-12iS with two Garmin G3X Touch screens, a GTN 650 navigator and an autopilot, equipped for instrument flight. What one hour costs

One number, fuel included.

No fuel receipt, no guessing the pump price. The same two instruction rates apply in every airplane. Everything else is on the fleet page, and how training works is on the learn to fly page.

Can I train for an instrument rating in N903S?

Yes. N903S is a 2023 Van's RV-12iS equipped for instrument flight, with two Garmin G3X Touch displays, a Garmin GTN 650 GPS navigator and communication radio, and a Garmin autopilot, so it has the equipment instrument training and instrument proficiency checks call for. That makes it one of the least expensive ways in Dallas Fort Worth to train on a modern glass instrument panel: the airplane is 165 dollars an hour wet, with fuel included, and my instruction is 75 dollars an hour. It is a two-seat light sport airplane, so it trades the cabin room of a four-seat trainer for low running costs and a panel that looks like something far newer. Its sister airplane, N492VT, carries the same IFR panel, so if one is booked or in maintenance, the other flies the same way. Call and we can plan the instrument work around your schedule.
