N355MM. Aerospool Dynamic WT-9.

A sleek European low-wing light sport airplane under a big bubble canopy, with two Garmin G3X Touch screens and an autopilot. It feels quicker and slipperier than the RV-12, which makes it a good second airplane once you have the basics.

Is the Dynamic WT-9 a good airplane for flight training?

It is a good one, especially once you have the basics. The Aerospool Dynamic WT-9 is a sleek low-wing European light sport airplane with a large bubble canopy, and N355MM has been upgraded with two Garmin G3X Touch displays, a Garmin autopilot and a Garmin GTR 200B radio, so the panel is fully modern. It is a slippery airframe, which rewards smooth energy management and teaches you to plan descents early, skills that carry straight into faster airplanes later. Like the RV-12 fleet it is powered by a Rotax engine and rents for 165 dollars an hour wet, with fuel included, and my instruction is 75 dollars an hour. Its current weight and balance shows a useful load of 509 pounds. Many students use it as a second airplane to broaden their experience, and it is available to rent solo after a checkout.
